CELAC (Crisis Committee)

The Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) is one of the more recently formed intergovernmental bodies in Latin America, founded in 2011. Made up of 33 total member nations, it is a regional body of Latin American and Caribbean nations dedicated to furthering the integration of regional nations into cooperation and reducing the influence of the United States on Latin American politics. CELAC will be tasked with the issue of free and fair elections. Delegates will discuss and develop ideas to address this global issue and further equality in political action.
